Brand
The identity of your brand, in one place.
Brand identity
Name, claim and description are facts: the director never makes them up. Whatever is missing here it asks you for — so writing it once saves a question in every conversation.
Upload it once: it stays in the brand and applies to every generation. A PNG with a transparent background, or an SVG, are the right shapes — a logo on a white rectangle shows against a dark scene.
Brand voice
The words to avoid matter most: they are the only thing that can make you throw away a generation you have already paid for.
The languages this brand's work comes out in: what the voice-over says, what the on-screen text reads, what the copy is written in. One of them is the main one — the language the brand itself is written in, and the one every generation is in unless you ask for another market by name.

Products
The catalogue the director uses to create your content.
What you sell. The director knows them by name, with their strengths and their price: «make an ad for the 3-month bundle» becomes a sensible request instead of a question, and the offer is written correctly.
Categories are the shelves — «Helmets», «Gloves» — and products sit inside them. They matter once the catalogue grows: without them, «make an ad for the helmets» is a request the director cannot attach to any one product.
Avatar
Your brand’s faces — picked from the gallery or created here — consistent in every piece of content.
Seedance rejects, on input, any reference image containing a face — even one
of a generated character: the filter looks at pixels, not at origin. The only accepted form is
asset://<AssetId>, and the Asset ID is issued by the
library after review.
They belong to the brand selected above. A character belongs to one client: the clothing presenter must not show up among the choices for a supplements ad — picking them would not raise an error, it would produce a video with the wrong face.
The library downloads the image from a URL. A file from disk has none, so the Studio gives it one: your photos go into the archive and the library fetches them from there. Upload them and send them for approval directly — the portrait is for when you have nothing to upload, or when no archive is configured.
Up to five views of the same person — front, three-quarters, profile, a different light. More angles make a steadier face; a single shot leaves the model to invent the rest. Drag them into the box, upload them, or choose pictures already made in the Studio.
Seedance rejects faces — generated ones included — unless they come from here.

The team’s avatar gallery is not listed here: pick a face from it in Setup → Avatar, with “Browse the gallery”.
Voices
Choose how your brand sounds.
Every voice here can be attached to the job being written, from its ⋯ menu, or made to say a new line: open «Create a voice», Direct a voice, and pick it in the Voice list.
Direct a voice: pick a voice, write the line, choose how it is said and add pauses, breaths or a laugh where they go. Then give it a name and it stays in the brand with that way of speaking.
From a description: describe the voice in your own words and it is designed — a timbre that did not exist before, yours, speaking every language.
From a recording: record 10–30 seconds of clean speech, one person, no music, then the consent statement in the same voice. Once the voice is ready, every line generated with it speaks in it, in any language.

Templates
Reuse your best formats, with new products.
A template is an ad with the product taken out: what remains is format, duration, style, light, camera grammar, beat rhythm and constraints. It exists to make the second video like the first — same format, different product — without redoing the same ten decisions. To create one, ask the director «make a template out of it» when a video has come out the way you wanted.
They belong to the brand selected above: an ad format is born for one client and stays theirs. Changing brand changes the list — running into another client’s ad does not raise an error, it gives a plausible video with the wrong structure.

Competitors
Decide who to stand apart from, and what makes your brand unique.
What to stand apart from. The director needs them so as not to produce somebody else’s advertising without knowing it.
Memory
What the director remembers about your brand, and uses.
The rest of the brand is what you typed. This is what came out of the conversations: tastes, rules of theirs, facts about the business. The director writes them down as it works and reads them again in every later conversation with this brand — so it does not ask twice and does not propose what has already been ruled out.
